I have a stone green XLT with medium stone inside on order. I was told by my dealer that the darkest interior colour was the medium stone. However, this past weekend I saw a truck with flint interior (it looked a little like gray). Is someone able to confirm what the different colour options are? I realize that I'm in Canada so there might be some differences from the trucks destined for the US. Thanks!

 

Ford web site lists Camel and Stone Gray as the only to interior choices on Stone Green XLT

 

Hey, i'm ordering the same thing her in ontario.. where did you order from? got a good deal? i'm still trying to iron out a few details... 09 srew 6/5 box, lots of goodies, stone green. wanted darker interior as well!

 

I ordered it in sarnia. I'm on the Xplan and won't know my final price until I take delivery. Its a super cab w/ 6.5 box. I ordered it back in the middle of Feb and its supposed to be built next week (woohoo!) has your dealer mentioned anything about a flint colour?

 

Another Ontario guy here. I'm waiting on a FX4 Screw with a 6.5' bed.

One of the reasons I changed my mind from the XLT was the interior colour was too light. That said, the stone grey was not a bad looking interior. I just wanted the darker.

I'm getting the FX4 with the Luxury package and what is supposed to be Black leather. I'm a little worried that my invoice tells me that it is Medium Flint/Black but the salesperson said that the Medium Flint was only the colour of the stitching on the seats.

I saw an FX4 today with the black leather and I have to tell you the dark colour interior looks really really nice.

 

Flint is common on the STX. The fabric does not look the same though.

 

Csetheridge, While doing a little more research I also saw that flint was on the STXs. Perhaps what I saw was an stx.

Canoetrpr, that truck is going to be sweet! I was on the fence as well between the XLT and the FX4. I wanted the stone green exterior though so didn't have much of a choice. It was also nice that the XLT was a little less $$$. Regarding your coloir' I was under the impression that one of the colours was the interior colour and the other colour was the seat colour. Does that make sense?

 

i have the light tan colour... wouldn't be my first chioce again.. shows EVERYTHING! and seat covers are 200 buck per so I'll wait a but on that lol... why wouldn't they do a black interior with this colour?

 

I have the medium stone interior on my xlt. The carpet is dark brown. Seats do cleanup easy. The two dogs have proven this.

 

What are your overall thoughts on the medium stone? From the pictures and trucks I have seen, its not a bad colour, I just don't understand why its the darkest available. In the brochure the tan colour looked seemingly similar to the stone.
