Should I be worried...

My truck has a build date 4/20. First day back from KC shutdown (idle). Read somewhere about less quality getting out the door on a truck built first day after shutdown. Myth or Fact?

I wouldnt be at all worried about it. They have to pass a quality control and if parts aint installed properly then it will get sorted. Now if they had shut down for a year or 2 then im sure people would have forgotn how to put them together and could be in trouble.

Personally, I was more upset about the 3 week delay.

Yep ordered it before there was any proper order guides. It was a long long wait.

Those robots will take about five minutes to warm up to top quality.

Only time will tell. If you think there will be low worker morale at the KC plant upon start-up, then it's only reasonable to assume some problems will exist on those trucks produced the first few days. Now that you feel scared, just enjoy the truck when you get it. You'll have 3 yrs/36k miles to worry if any defect occurs.

I may be mistaken, but I am pretty sure that the build date refers to the week it will be built, not the actually day. That's the way it was with our Flex.

That's what my dealer told me as well. Also, its just a scheduled date, nothing is set in stone.
