What CAI and Cat-Backs are out there?

Just got my truck yesterday 2009 Supercab XLT with the new 4.6 3v, looking to put a cold air intake and Cat-Back system on it, so whats out there or what do you guys have on yours? I have a K&N CAI from my old 2004 Mustang GT wondering if this would work any opinions?

I really wish Ford would have performance parts for the '09 F150 like a CAI and cat-back exhaust so the warranty would not be affected.

The little research I have done shows not much is available for the '09 truck. K&N has a CAI and Borla has an exhaust choice.

Just get whatever muffler you want, and have a good exhaust shop install it.This is the way you should do it anyway, buying the kits is a waste of money. An exhaust shop can do the same thing for about half the price.I took my Corsa exhaust off my 2006, and had it installed back on my 2009, dual out the back twin pipes for about $400,that included new piping etc. When I originally bought the Corsa system in the kit it was about $1200.

S&B is working on a CAI for the 2009 5.4L. I would think that they have one in the works for the 4.6 as well.

CAI - There are lots out there. Volant, AFE, K&N... I prefer the dry filter design of AFE personally. Exhaust are easy to get made custom and will end up hitting you wallet less if you go to a muffler shop and have them take a look.

As the others mentioned, do it right the first time and find a good performance exhaust shop (preferably one that does mandrel bends instead of crush bends), tell them what you want and get a custom exhaust. I got a custom mandrel bent dual exhuast with X pipe and twin magnaflows for about the same price as a single cat back kit costs. As far as CAI, I'd spend some time in the tuning section seeing of any of the custom tuners have something out for the 2009 4.6 3V yet. That will probably make you a lot happier than just a CAI with stock tune.

Thanks alot guys yeah I'm gonna have the same shop that did my mustang exhaust do my truck, I think I'm gonna run Flowmasters's or Borla not sure yet. As far as the CAI I'm gonna hold off on that as I plan on getting a custom tune later on or I might just supercharge the b*tch and call it a day.
