Rebates

I was just at my local ford dealership really considering trading my 08 fx4 for an 09 xlt 4X4 Blue flame color. I was rather stumped as i drove away. $3000 cash back. Thats all!!!!! He wouldnt budge. I have read through posts in here, anywhere from 5-10k cash back. I dont know, maybe he just didnt want to sell.

Price it out with other dealers. I don't think I got the best deal but $8500 was knocked off from MSRP (includes the $3k rebates). If you have a trade-in, you are best served by visiting more than 2 dealers to get the best price. Chances are one of the dealers wants you to drive away in the new truck.

I am only paying 360 a month for my 08 fx4 x-cab. I am hoping i can get a deal that will come that close with a 09. But i just dont see that in anyway.

Dealers tend to extend the term of loan to fit your payment. Nonetheless, you'll probably pay a few more dollars a month to swap trucks.
