enabling dvd while driving

I have a Platinum with Sony Navigation and in-dash dvd. Does anyone know if it is possible to enable the dvd system so that it can be used while driving. I'm going on a long road trip and my kids were hoping to watch a couple of moves.

Have you seen the install video? NOT worth it. (to me anyway). It looks way too invasive to tear down all the insides in order to install a "simple" plug and play.

Oh well. Guess the kids get to use the old fashioned sense of fun; looking out the windows and using their imaginations!!! YAY! Daddy's a hero

My buddy has a dvd headunit in his Yota. If he pulls out his e brake the first click it will allow him to play movies while driving. Not sure if it will do the same with F150's.

I know navtv makes a device to plug in the back. Kinda pricey though. Allows to watch tv and enable backup camera anytime. Think it retails for $499 www.navtv.com
Also pac makes one that sales for about $250 (i have not researched either of them too much yet) I have the same system in my FX4 which i plan on doing the same to.
