SYNC...organizing music by song title??

I contacted SYNC but they had no info for me...when i put songs onto a USB drive and plug it in, sync plays the songs by song name. What i want it to do is play the songs by artist, starting with A. Instead it plays songs that the title starts with A. Anyway to get around this, instead of renaming a few thousand songs or creating a few hundred folders

You can choose them how ever you like. You can choose them by artist, title, genre, album and a few others as well as by folder. I just do them by folder as thats how i have always done it in windows.

Make a "play list" for each artist. I had a problem with just the "Artist" when there were over 100 songs for an artist. I have a 160gb pod with 70gb of music on it. Creating a "play list" solved the issue.

ive tried doing that but i cant seem to get it to move from artist A then to artist B. I can choose by artist but then it just stays within the artists songs and doesnt move to the next artist. Ehhh whatever, guess its like having everything on shuffle

ohhh i see your trying to play all your artists from a-z. You would have to do a playlist like sandydeigo said or you could copy every song into another folder and do a quick bulk rename of the id3 tags so them songs whould be under a folder name like artists A-Z and you will be able to play every song in that folder how ever you like. That wont take you anymore than 5 mins to do if you have the space. I have a 320gb harddrive so got the room to do stuff like that.
