2009 Review - The Good Bad and Ugly
My 2009 KR has chrome running bars, which look better than the plastic colored ones IMHO. The best features are SYNC and the leather seats, very nice!
Unfortunately, I have had several issues with the KR including leaking third stop light (was replaced after cab filled with water), squeaky rear springs (were replaced after 3 trips to the dealer), poorly shifting transmission (was reprogrammed), rust on paint (was compounded out by paint shop), now power steering is going out.
I only have 7000 miles on it so far and too many trips back to the dealer for repairs. My 2001 XLT was more reliable. Maybe I should have kept it another year and waited for 2010 model.

Well after 6 months and 16k in the road. I can say I am super happy. No real issues. I love the ride and just the way the truck drives. Yea I could pick on little things I would like changed, but over all a great truck that should give years of service. BTW I traded my 06 F-250 6.0 FX4 XLT Sport in on this truck and don't miss it at all. I have owned several F series trucks this one is the best so far.
