Radio Trim Removal
Radio Trim Removal
Anyone attempt to remove the radio dash Panel yet? I started to last night, there are two screws on the top that have to be removed but after that I cant figure out what to do, doesnt seem like it wants to move at all.
I had most of the dash apart today. There is also another screw behind the Sync usb plate. You should then be able to remove the panel then.
There is a little notch under the plate that you can get a small screw driver under and then pull pretty hard and the panel will pop out.
The Sync panel at the bottom pops out and there is another bolt behind it.

Kinda sucks though, with FX4 I would just have a flat black panel in the centre of the dash instead of the glossy panel. Plus with sync and everythng else I am starting to wonder if it worth doing an aftermarket HU.
Sony is pretty good as it is....
