As far as I know, it's still the 23rd. Haven't talked to my dealer in a week or so, not since I switched to White Sand. Maybe I'll give him a ring tomorrow and see if anything has changed regarding build date. Monday's are always crazy for me at work so all depends if darn customers give me two seconds to make the call!

In a strange way I kind of hope it's not sooner, that way I get the truck when the weather is better (why does it keep snowing) and gives me more time to save a bit more for down payment. And now my gf is looking at getting a new vehicle... so much to do, so little time.

It will make you feel better if you think about how much your monthly payments will decrease with every paycheck you're able to save before it arrives. Besides, until the snow is gone it's cool, hate driving a brand-new vehicle right out into the slush n mush.

That is true and it will be very nice to be able to boost the downpayment. But I'm just an impatient person.

Snow...what the...Oh SNAP...that's the white stuff all over the ground in the pics I've been seeing

Stopped by my local Ford dealer's lot this AM and he's <finally> got some 2009's on his lot. There was a Platinum 5.5 4x4 in black with the tan interior...shame as I think the Sienna Brown (er...black) interior would be outstanding with the black exterior. It was a BEAUTIFUL truck and I was tempted...but no more black trucks for me (as my truck has to sit outside). Good thing I have one on order or I would have been tempted They are a sweet looking truck and those polished 20's look nicer in person than in the pics...Ford has called many of thier stock wheels "polished" over the years - but these actuallty look polished. And the interior, front grill...getting harder to wait for sure

My build date was pushed to the 30th from the 23rd, so that's even better for me. More money to throw down being the big one, and of course I always wanted to get it when the weather was turning nice, so the timing will be perfect!

Comet...you are truly a patient person...not to worry though, I'll bear the burden of the earlier build date for you - as that's just the kind of guy I am. However, it just might cost you a set of those Ford rubber mats...
