Bed Extender Removal

First off, does anyone here have the bed extender? Do you find it useful?

I am thinking about ordering it but I'm planning on having LineX sprayed in and I'm concerned that the LineX on the bed side rail would keep the extender from pivoting properly at the attachment point.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

Yes, I have the bed extender. Yes, I find it useful. I also have a spray in bedliner and it works fine with it.

Nice to hear, I did order it and found the bed extender for my '05 VERY useful!! It was hardly ever in the way. I'd imagine the Linex guy could just tape off the bed extender mounting points and all would work fine?

Yep, bed extender in my '04 was always very handy and very easy to remove when necessary. The one in the '09 should be 10x better. But I'll be getting a drop-in bedliner; I don't like the spray-in's as they make it difficult to move things around in the bed.

CF - I bet they can mount the bed liner and have it work with the bed extender no problem...probably just another small cut on each side to facilitae the mounting points...be sure and post once your truck arrives and they install the bedliner
