My new truck has the malfunctioning transmission temperature guage too. I'll be looking forward to getting this repaired when Ford has a solution available.

same problem

I have an 09 with the 5.4 and 6spd tranny and having the same gauge issues, good to know I'm not alone.

I am also having the same problem, it is good to know I am not alone.I am afraid to drive the Truck what next.

funny I just started noticing mine too. I drive the same roads home from work everyday (short 3.5 mile commute), and EVERY time the gauge drops to zero/cold at this same redlight I stop at about 1 mile from home.
