and if you listened to our competition horse power is what makes a truck now a days.

with gm and dodge in so much trouble you are going to see less r&d and new features from them, where as Ford will continue to improve on a already near perfect truck.

it wasn't widely reported but Ford made the top of the list of safest vehicles across their entire product line, we have 16 production models that meet or exceed all the safety requirements when tested by IIHS i believe Honda was nest with 13 and dodge had no products that met the requirements for the IIHS, not one car/truck/suv made by dodge even qualified for a safety award, what does that tell you but i guess its got a hemi is enough for their company.

For the first time ever, winners represent every class of vehicle the Institute tests except microcars. Most car, minivan, and SUV models, midsize convertibles, and small and large pickups are eligible. Ford and its subsidiary Volvo have 16 winners, including the Ford F-150 large pickup. Thirteen winners are from Honda and its Acura division. The Honda Fit with optional ESC is the first minicar to earn Top Safety Pick.

To some hp does sell trucks, that market share goes to GM and Toyota right now. Lets face it some people don't haul anything but want to go fast and don't want to sit on the ground like in a mustang.

In fact HP does sell trucks, look at all the guys foaming at the mouth on this board waiting for the 6.2.

If everyone wanted the same truck then we would be a pretty boring world.

Ford does some things well, Dodge does other things well, GM does yet other things well.

Now if they would make it like Class 7 and 8 trucks I'd be one happy camper. You could order a Ford chassis, GM 6.2 and trans etc.

Wow. We always think hp but never really stop and think about safety? This video makes you stop and think. As soon as the new engine comes out for the F-150 ford will run away with the truck market. No doubt.

Good video.

Don't worry, safety is on the preority list for me Since my car accident in 2003 when i was only 18 and almost died.Since then i can't drive a car without feeling safe in it or knowing it's safe.

Now i'm almost completly deaf and can't smeel anything because my first car didn't protect me. I'm lucky i was only going 50 or 60 KM/H not MPH.

Here's a picture.
