Do you guys purchase the extended warranty from Ford?

I nearly did until i looked into it and it's a rip off. Loads of people on here and other forums recommended not to do it as there are still fee's you have to pay to have things sorted. ALso if you check the small print it dont cover anyhwere near what you would expect it to. Your choice but im sure you will get an answer on here.

For some idiotic reason I did on my 2004. What a waste of money. It may rattle and whine let the sky is falling, but I've never had a reason to ever bring it in for mechanical service. If your vehicle ever does start falling apart, just trade it in. Never ever will I buy a warranty again.

 

I purchased both the ESP and the Premium Maintenance plan ($2400.00 total) for 6y/100K. I have used the ESP with a Honda with good success (recently); may not be a great deal, but it gives me piece of mind..
