Sport Cloth Buckets in FX4

Does anyone have these in their truck? All the FX4's I have seen around my area have the leather seats. I'm not a big fan of leather but if they cloth seats are crap, I may have to go with the leather.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

sorry I don't have an 09, but I have the sport cloth buckets in my 04 FX4 and they have been holding up just fine (5 years old this coming April). Some people complain about water stains on the cloth seats, but I had mine protected by a Scotchguard treatment when it was brand new, and I've had no stain problems ever.

I have an 09 FX4 with cloth seats. I like them better than leather. Ive never been a big fan of leather in a truck. Stitching on the seats is very nice, seats are pretty comfy after getting used to them(had a 02 f150 with bench seats)...i dont really have any complaints.

If you get a light color cloth interior, you may want to follow Steve's advice. Back in '04 there were a LOT of complaints of the tan staining so easily, even the ones with leather seats in tan still had tan carpeting, etc. Just an FYI, if they used diff materials it may not be an issue in '09 I don't know.

I just test drove a '09 FX4 a few days ago and the cloth seats were pretty dang comfy. Seemed durable too.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to get the black seats so we'll see how they hold up to stains.

I test drove an 09 and the cloth seats are really comfortable. Much nicer than the ones in my '04

In 2004 they improved the seats greatly from the '97-'03 ('04 Heritage) models. A lot of people have been saying the '09 seats are even more comfortable. I sat in a Platinum once, but could feel no difference between it and my '04 captain's chairs. Maybe it takes awhile to sink in? I dunno, but lots on here say they are better than the '04's seats. When my '09 comes maybe I'll notice a change, we shall see. When I sat in the Plat I kept feeling the seats and saying to my gf, "Everyone keeps saying the seats are SO much better, but they feel the same as what I have right now!" Ah well.
