I sent out email to a 4 dealerships and I'm still waiting for 3 to respond. The one who did respond gave me a small discount and told me that's all he'd give and even wrote... believe it or not... "checkmate" at the end of his email. What a moron. I deleted all my conversations with him. But I am still waiting for those other so-called "desperate" dealers to bother to try to make a sale.

I'm going to follow Hotlap's advice and ask on here for advice on what people did or would pay for the following basic truck: 2008 XL V6 w/ Auto & AC. MSRP is averaging $21.5k (with other small assorted options varying prices). There is $5500 in rebates available so if you suggest a price please indicate if that is before or after rebates. I am open to 2009 too, so indicate it too if you want, but the rebate is a lot smaller... but maybe it somehow still pays off?
