leveling kits

I put an leveleling spacer on my '06 but wanted to try the rancho quick lift shock replacements out, however they were backordered forever and now i got an '09. Would these shocks work in the new truck, both were fx4 models.

Not to jack the OP's thread - but I have the alum leveling spacer kit for my '05 Lariat Screw that I never got around to installing...was wondering if that kit will fit the '09 Platinum....I'm thinking Ford didn't change the front suspension between the "04 - '08's to the '09?

Can anyone verify this

according to auto spring corp...the 09 spacers are a bit different. I ordered them monday and got them today. Look to be good quality and pretty solid. Not bad for $79 bucks and now i cant wait to get them installed

CD - nice looking truck - congrats!! See if you can get before and after pics of your truck's ride height and post them once the leveling kit has been installed.

Still waiting for pics! Are these spacers for a 2 inch lift? Has anyone experienced any trouble with the CV joints, ball joints, or anything else with the leveling kits installed?

I've heard anything greater than 4" will present problems. If that's the case, why are all the biggest players sticking with 6" lifts as their standard?
