Just ordered a new 4x4 SCrew Lariat

Hello All,

I am a long time reader, but this is my first post here. I just wanted to say I think that this is a pretty cool place for info on ford trucks. A couple of hours ago I just ordered a 2009 4x4 Lariat SCrew Oxford white with Pueblo Gold Lower paint. 5.5 ft bed, 3.55 LS, Captains chairs, Rear view camera/sensing system, sony stereo with the subwoofer (No Nav. Way to pricey)Tan interior, chrome steps, bed extender. Now I just have to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Congrats on your new F-150!! I too am in the process of ordering an '09 F-150 (4x4 Platinum Screw with 5.5 bed and all the bells)! I do like the rearview camera - but it sure does create one heckuv a "tailgate nipple" if you know what I mean Can't believe how far that thing sticks out!!

Good luck with the wait...this is the part that drives me crazy!! I ordered a 2007 GT500 vert and it took FOREVER to arrive...almost a year!! The last 21 days it took to ship by rail from the plant to CA were the most painful...sat for 10 days in a Kansas City "mixing" yard...

Thanks for the replies Hotlap and cdiddy4224. Hotlap, I know what you mean about the camera. I've heard that it sticks out even farther on cold days.
This is my first time ordering a new truck, so yeah I am not thrilled about the wait. With my luck there will be some sort of hang up that makes it tak even longer.
