New Feb incentives

Looks today like they are really beefing up the incentives for an 09:
$7000 cash back and $500 financing credit, OR 0% up to 60 mos. This is definately what I needed to pull the trigger on the FX4 supercrew I was eyeing....going in this afternoon to purchase.

EDIT: Oops...this incentive is for '08's not '09's! Damn.

Where on earth are you getting the 7K cash back? Ford's site shows the same incentives from Feb. No changes for March. It has been updated as it shows take delivery by 3/31/09.

I know there are other incentives, IE returning leasees, A/D/Z/X plan returning customers, competitive lease turn-ins, etc... but no way they add up to 7K cash back.

I just bought an 09 FX4 I made sure the incentives were not going to change. The current incentives are good till March 31st. The only 0% being offered is for 36 months. I agree with dzervit, it does not add up. Unless the dealer is pulling a fast one and including the A or x-plan price then I can see $7k with combined incentives.

I got my numbers from this site:

http://www.thinkfordnow.com/

I just checked again given your responses. Looks like in my haste I chose the 08 Supercrew from the pulldown menu. The 09's have not changed, still $3K back. Crap, no I guess I have to wait at least another month until Ford gets in line with their competition in terms of incentives. The dealers I have talked to in the Denver area are really hoping for more from the factory. Sales are dismal at best.

I was told by a salesman that "Ford Truck Month" will start on February 12th and run through 3/31. He acted like the the 0% APR type deals would come out on the 12th.

Today Ford reported January sales numbers. F series Jan sales were down 38.6% so they better do something aggressive. Volume is important since margins are good when they load up a basic F series crew with a FX4 or Lariat package that retails for $45K. I noticed fleet sales were down over 60%...ouch!

I am ready to pull the trigger on a loaded Lariat 4x4 if they will just get serious about the incentives. I want 0% for 60 or 72 months.

You'll be waiting a long time for that. I got my truck for $30,900. $38,770, Xplan price was $35,390. Less $3000 cash back, $1500 returning leasee credit... I will also be getting a check for another $500 mailed to me from Ford for being a returning X-plan dude.

So, that's $3380 off sticker and $5000 in incentives. $8380 off sticker is a damn good deal. PLUS the dealer made my last two lease payments on the MKX... for another $992.40 in savings for me. CHA-CHING! 5.74% APR on a 60 month loan from my CU and that is tough to beat.

Plus you also have to consider if they do offer 0% APR (a max of 60mo usually) all that customer cash and rebates go buh-bye. It's one or the other. I don't see them pulling a Chrysler and offering both.

Ford is serious about the incentives right now. Dealers are doing everything possible for the sale. Walk in, tell them you want X-plan pricing without the pesky PIN and the incentives. Get your own financing. Enjoy your new truck.

Yup, mee too. I went over to the Chevy dealer and they have 0% for 60 mos on the Silverado Crew, but I like the Ford better. We'll see, they may just offer something for Presidents day. Meanwhile, I'll put somemore miles on my Tundra.

Go to a credit union!

My local credit union has rates that are hard to beat

24 months As low as 3.75% APR Up to 18.00% APR
36 months As low as 3.99% APR Up to 18.00% APR
48 months As low as 3.99% APR Up to 18.00% APR
60 months As low as 3.99% APR Up to 18.00% APR
72 months As low as 5.25% APR Up to 18.00% APR

I was able to finance through my credit union for 5.25% for 72 mnths. The lowest the dealer would go was 6.9% for 72 or 5.9% for 60. The crdit union was the way to go. The dealer finance guy was annoyed I didnt give him the chance to sell me the 6.9% rate. I told em after you screwed me for the loyalty rebate I wouldnt finance through Ford ever!!

Credit union also allows you to apply all rebates towards the truck and you get a better rate to boot. Win-Win

I took the $3k cash back along with the positive equility on my trade in and used that as my 10% downpayment to get 4.9% for 72 mo.s through my credit union. The sales manager was disappointed that I did not finance thru FMC.

I saw on TV last night that Ford was offerring $3k cash back, $1k XLT discount and $1k Chrome Package Discount. For a total of $5k if you are looking for a XLT with the Chrome Package.
