Rebate Help on 09 F150

I had an accident and 06 F150 was just declared a total loss. I went to the dealer to buy an 09. Im getting the $3k rebate, but I am being denied the $1500 Ford loyalty rebate and the $500 x-plan rebate. The dealer supposedly called Ford and was denied. I called Ford Corp. and was denied as well. Fords claim is that I did not term (end) my contract because of the total loss. They will not make an exception, claiminf they would need to do it for everyone. Also they claimed that not all buyers qualify for any and all rebates. Anyone know of any tricks or ways around this?

Are you willing to buy the truck if the dealer gives you the $2000 off?

If so, I would just tell them (the dealer and/or Ford Corp) if they will drop it another $2000, you'll sign.

Sorry, I don't know other tricks about getting Ford to change their mind...

How did they figure this? Did you own the truck or have it on ford finance?

It was financed/leased through Ford Credit. The dealer is telling me that they can submit for the $2k but I will be charged back for the amount.

Yeah if you didnt do the finance through them you may have been ok. They are trying to get back the money that they would have made on the finance. Which i guess you paid of early?

WAS IT LEASED OR FINANCED at the time of the wreck, it can NOT be both.
