Will a cold air kit from an 08 fit an 09?

Or is there major differences under the hood?

Significantly different. The 2009 uses an outboard mounted airbox as opposed to the style that is mounted on top of the throttle body. The MAF sensor is also relocated to where the intake tube connects to the airbox but is now after the airbox instead of in front of it.

I'd wait until the kits specifically for the 2009 become available.

What about exhaust kits? Are they interchangeable?
