A-plan / z-plan what to expect ?

just want to know a ball park on what Z-plan will do for me. I'm pricing on-line a 2009 FX4, for around $37,000.. (leather, and Max towing stuff being the premiun decision) What do you thing in the ball park i can get in a discount on the Z-plan ?

I really don't want to go to a dealer to discuss this right now. Just want to see how others faired that's already bought or knows.

goto blueovalforums.com

i just priced out an 08 using the x-plan vs A-Plan and they were able to give me the actual prices and everything. You need to provide the VIN, dealer location and such.

here is the link the the right sub forum where youd want to post your question...

I thought Z plan was only available for retired Ford people?? I was told that it would be easier to get rocking horse Sh** than it is to get a z plan pin.

Lucky man then. You should be looking at a great price for the truck if you have that.

I know with my Mom's A-plan you can go to site and enter your info and it will give you the MSRP and A/Z plan prices for the base of each model, XL, XLT, etc w/o options. She did it for a Mariner and Sable I do believe. I tried it for a ranger.

I've bought 5 trucks that way, always at the end of the model year, with great incentives. When I trade it in, never seemed to be far upside down in it, due to these and the a/z plan. well, not to the point i notice anyway.. but, I buy a used 2005, want to get rid of it after 2 years, and I'm about $4k upside down !!!... Now, this goes all against the "don't buy a new car because of the depreciation".. I call b.s. on that..(if you plan it smart) for instance, my last new truck was a ranger, sticker for like $26K, bought it brand new for $17k.. after a few years, when i traded it in, I got what I owed on it.. not a bad deal..
