Soon to be New Ford Owner

Hey all, I'm moving to NC soon from NY big change and Im looking to get a truck. Ive heard a lot of great stuff about the 09 Ford, what do you guys think of a Ford F150 Lariat SuperCrew? I think its about 34k? How much do you think I could it a brand new 09 lariat supercrew for at the dealers?

Thanks and nice to meet you all. Will take pics when i get the truck

Welcome to the forum. your best bet is to price the lariat on the ford build page. You should be around the 34k-38k price point depending on what spec you are looking for after rebates.

I just looked at one that was well loaded for 45K with a 2K discount, wait until this summer they will get much cheaper after they don't sell many for that price.

Actually I was looking online I think im going to go with the f150 fx-4 super cab since it already is 4x4 and id rather not pay an extra 3 grand for super crew.

If you buy the lariat you gotta upgrade to super crew AND 4x4 so u end up paying like 40k instead of 33k.

So i think im going to go with the f150 fx-4 super cab seems fair price has remote start, power everything and sirius satellite radio.

I dont need a nav system, backup camera and all that extra chrome and bigger wheels...

Goodluck with the truck purchase and moving. Both the Lariat and fx4 are nice, however the fx4 sounds like a good deal. Welcome to the site and post some pictures up when you make your decision
