F150 Incentives

Any incentive changes for the '09 F150? Latest in my area: $3000 cash or up to 36 month zero interest.
Any word on a year end increase?

They arent doing any up here in Michigan. For a base XLT, theyre wanting 470/month lease. My current lease on my 07 is around 315 a month, and the new prices are ridiculous.

Don't worry, you will be getting plenty in the next few weeks/months.

They still need to get rid of old stock first. Plus you want them to shake out all the bugs first on the newest trucks, trust me I know, I have an 04'.

I have an '04 as well and there weren't any substantial bugs to work out.... Ford did a pretty good job on the remod

I have an 04 and there were bugs and haven't even tried to change the plugs yet, would never buy an early production truck again

Depends on what you would consider substantial. Sure the engine didn't fall out, but the rear diff had to be changed, throttle issues, paint issues, and a few other things I had to deal with many people who bought 05's didn't have.

That's why when I got the Expy, we bought an 04', not an 03', which had its share of problems.

Lesson ... Never buy first year production of any redesign. Not only will you save yourself from early problems, but save some money as well.

No problems with the transmission here. it's been a proven realiable trans. Dont forget it's been used in the expy for a while now. mine is perfect.

I'll second that. After driving the DW's Expy this past week over the Hoilidays, I'm in love. If there was a way to get a new 2009 F-150, I'd do it just because of the tranny. That six-speed is smoooooooooooooooth. I think the first gear is really low, but man, I'm sure this thing will pull my trailer better than my 2008 F-150. The only reason I'll pull it with my truck is because of the payload.

If anybody is in the central Texas area, Mac Haik in Georgetown is offering 80% off MSRP on every 09 F150 they have. Deal ends on 05jan09....

Wish I wasnt deployed right now otherwise my 07 would defiently get traded in.

Typo? That would make a $42k truck cost $8.5k.

Well, dont feel bad. You did bring some happiness to me. Briefly. Until I figured the math was too good to be true.

I went to three local dealers yesterday looking for an FX4. There aren't many 09's around here yet. Dealer #1 had 3 XLT's. Dealer #2 had 1 XL. Dealer #3 had 3 XLT's and 1 FX4. The FX4 screw w/luxury package was sweet.

I really want to get one but the wife would kill me.

One dealer was offering $8,000 off on any 2009 F150. Of course he only had one on the lot. I can't justify spending $42,000 MSRP on a truck. I will have to wait until I can pick up a used one with low miles. I will let someone else pay for the first years depreciation.
