I spoke to my dealer about this and he told me that it was only for f150 owners. well i spoke to another dealer and ford and they said it was for any competitive vehicle but he wouldn't give me the extra $2000 of trade in if i traded the suv. Ford told me that it finished weeks ago but i cant find any information about this rebate anywhere. Seems like they are doing there best to hide up even the lame incentives there are offering.

When I bought my 05 Lariat there was a dealer(can't remember his name) who visited this site and would confirm incentives available from Ford. He was sure a help.

There was also a Ford employee (can't remember his name either) who you could give your serial number and he could tell you the status of your ordered unit. I followed my 05 weekly through his updates right to shipping date. He gave info to many of us back in 2004. Got my new 05 in December 04.

I think the weak incentives are to try and move the 08's. There are still a bunch of 08's out there. If they make the deals too good on 09's, no one would buy the older models. I'm watching them, as soon as I see something good, I'm going to buy an 09. I'm getting rid of an 08 Chevy and can't wait!

yeah, the deals on the 08's are great right now !!.. i just wished they had the 11,300 towing capacities that the 09's will (properly equiped, of course)

Ford will typically make many of their financing deals REGIONAL in nature. So, if you're in place "A", place "B" may have totally different deals...

I have always been partial to Ford. I've had a need in the past for a diesel to tow heavy and that is gone now. I had lots of issues with my 06 powerstroke so traded it on a 08 duramax. I don't need a diesel anymore and am impressed with the 09 F-150, so I'm going to get back into a Ford.

For me now it shows $3k retail cash or 0% for 36 months. Thats good enough for me if I can by chance find exactly what I want out there.

8.9% APR for 72 mo
I just rechecked the same Pittsburgh dealer, and things have changed:

0% APR for 36 mo
3.9% APR for 48 mo
4.9% APR for 60 mo
6.9% APR for 72 mo

and also $3000 customer cash back for any cab size (reg, scab, screw). Not sure if the cash back can be combined with the low APR rates or not, it appears to be separate.

Still says through 1/5/09
