I dropped out yesterday. It was taking to long and it gave me way too much time to think about what I was doing getting a new Platinum with an engine that I will want to upgrade from in a few years.
I picked out a 2008 FX4 Super Crew 4X4, Loaded with leather, navigation, power folding mirrors, power rear window, rear camera, Audiophile, the works. Same options as my Platinum, minus the sunroof and the sync. I got this for $31K, a $13K savings over my Platinum. In 4 years or so, I will get another one after the Ecobosst V-6 has been out for a year or so.
I am happy with my decision, and this FX4 is beautiful. Black with dark gray 2 tone paint. I am blacking it out with black nerf bars, blacked out windows, black tool box and bed cover.
I will post some pics after I pick it up next weekend.

i got mine through Exchange New Car Sales overseas Military Vehicle Sales here in Japan. the delivery date is in jan so i can pick it up pretty much when i get off the plane. we got in the ordering/spec forms the end of july begining of aug..

I'm not liking what I'm hearing on this thread. Like several others I ordered my FX4 Supercrew through Exchange New Car Sales in Iraq back in May. I was originally told it would be delivered late July/early Aug which would have been right after I got back home. By mid June that date had changed to early Sept. Then in early July the date was moved to early Oct. I still have a delivery date of 6 Oct and I received my VIN about 2 weeks ago. I hope it comes through. I've had to buy a POS to get around in until then.

You know they pushed the release date back, im sure you will be able to get yours in oct. i recieved my vin last week. i hope you get yours when youre supposed to!
