What drivers are saying

I've put well over 1000 miles on both the 4.6 and 5.4 6 speed combos and BOTH are MUCH improved over the old 4 speed combinations.
I've driven the 2009 F-150 with 1600 lbs payload on a slalom course. Also driven it on a mountain road course. Oh and driven it with 5000lbs behind it. This truck was made NOT to beat the competition, but OUR CURRENT TRUCK. The frame redesign and road NVH improvements are years ahead of anything else on the road INCLUDING the current F-150.

It's amazing.

I'm thinking the Dodge will still keep their same niche of buyers. F-series is just taking ride quality, take off(the new 5.4 AND 4.6 engines combined with that 6-speed tranny are butter smooth), and SERIES wide performance several steps further.
I honestly think it rides better and is quieter than the MKS. It's literally a friggin' bank vault.

I have a friend that manages a Ford dealership and he told me today that he was supposed to have the '09 F150's in stock already. Doesn't know when they will be delivered because of all the '08's that they have in stock nation wide.

Does that mean you get to pay out the **** on repairs till they make a recall a few years later?
