Nah, if I buy a 2009, I wont be kicking myself. I'll most likely be getting a new one in 2010 anyway.

the 2009 F-150 Platinum Screw is my second choice. The 2009 Infiniti FX50 is my first choice, although, I'm trying to get that new grill on it to grow on me.

Both vehicles have a controversial grill to say the least.

My truck is 6 months old... I would not buy a new truck until the body style actually changes. A little lipstick, is not a change. Breast augmentation...now thats a change.

of course people who just bought a truck aren't going to buy the 09. But there's some of us whose trucks will be 4/5 years old by the time 09 comes out.

Wait for 2010? For what, the gas guzzling 6.2 that might only come out in the Harley model. Or the Eco V6 that might only get 1 or 2mpg better than the 5.4. and both would be new engines that might have some "bugs" to work out, and possibly cost more too.

Why are so many toting "a little lipstick"? I haven't seen one in person, but the 2009 is pretty much a redesign except for the engines (so far) and a little bit of the basic look of the flat panel portions of the door sheetmetal. I'd say the sheet metal is all new, too, as I'm sure it won't fit pre-2009 models. The interior is certainly all new. The frame is all new. The wheels and brakes are all new. The truck is bigger - taller, longer, and wider. I'll bet dollars to donuts, nobody will mistake the 2009's from a 2008 when they sit next to each other. Look at the comparison photos here on this forum. Now, the Superduty in the looks department is about as close as you can get to a nip and tuck in the sheetmetal department. I even had a guy yesterday gawking at my truck while he was filling up his new 2008 Superduty. He swore up and down mine was a 2008, too. Guess he wasn't much of a truck buff... anyone can see the front clip is much different... unless you look from the side and can't see the headlights.
