2009 5.4 HP/Tq #'s = 310HP/365Tq...........Ford is relying on the 6 speed tranny to hop things up in the performance Dept., for this engine! ......

Who cares about the 09 with the new engine line up comming in 2010???
You have to be out of your mind to buy the 09 with all the new engine options that are going to be available in 2010.

I don't think so unless the price of fuel goes way down, all the new engines are going to be very expensive to buy and to operate give me the 5.4 and 6spd. tranny

This is not true, those numbers were just speculation by MT. Another poster was told at a show by a Ford Rep 325 Hp and 400+ torque. I would believe those numbers before MT's.

I'll be there on Monday. They usually have a lot of Ford trucks at the NY show.

I dont think the price of gas is going to change the minds of the people that want performance in there truck like myself. If the 5.4 does a good job for you then thats great, but it's not the engine I want.

Hmmm I hope this is true. Would help drastically when mated to the 6 speed with a decent set of rear end gears.
