Key for the new 09's ?

Just a question has anyone by chance seen the keys for the new 09 models at a show ? Just wondering if we were finally going to get a key with all the buttons incoporated or still have the seperate remote ?

Thanks

Thanks for the post! Thumper did it on his Mustang, and thought that it might work for F150's. If ya care, this is the thread:

It wouldn't be surprising if they went to the IKT for the '09s.

The ignition key and keyfob are all built into one piece.

Like the one in this Ebay auction. Some guys here are geeks and like the idea of the fob and key built into one neat little assembly.

Make sure you search on eBay - you can find the remotes for the $30-$35 range with low shipping. The link has a BIN option, but make an offer.

It would make sense if they went to the integrated key fob.

Personally, I prefer the separate fob and key. Allows me to put each on a separate key ring. That way if I have do a quick run into places like the post office or a walk up ATM, I can lock it without turning it off. Also if someone tries to steal it, they will be going down the road with the lights flashing and the horn honking after I hit the panic button. Something that will definitely draw attention.
