So I am planning on heading up to the Detroit Auto Show on Saturday. If anyone has any specific picture requests, let me know. I don't know how the display will be set up, but I should be able to get a pretty good look at everything. I'm hoping to get a better look at the engine to see what's changed.

I'd like to see a shot of an interior that doesn't have the console, preferably an XL or XLT (or both ). Just to see how that Star Trek dash looks without it.

 

I am going to try and make a list of specific pictures for anyone that wants one. It shouldn't take too long to take 'em.

 

Get a picture of a regular cab. I'm particularly interested in the amount of room behind the seat, and if they have the cool storage unit back there like the 04-08 regular cabs. Thanks.

 

Maybe a shot or two of the headliner, front and rear. Still really haven't seen what it looks like, and if it has anything like the HomeLink built into the visor like the '04 does.

Maybe shots of the tailgate with the reverse camera, to see how far the badge really sticks out.

Looks like standard moonroof, no VistaRoof.

Haven't seen any shots of the armrest/center console open yet, what the inside looks like. Same with glove box (not real exciting, but hey, it'd be one we haven't seen yet).

I'd like to see shot of side of Platinum Captain's Chairs, to see that 10-way power stuff they were talkin' up.

The rear window looks the same. Did they ever fix the thousands of issues they had with the current slider and motor in the '09, so the rear window will actually power open and closed when you want it to? OOH! Can you finally get both the rear sliding window AND the rear Defrost?!?! It would be about time.

Do the heated seats come on with the Remote Start? Does the cowl still collect ice cubes and squeek n' moan?

How about that hole in the floor below the rear passenger "40" seat? Shot of that open.

Maybe a closer shot of that "message center" display area, at the top of the center stack, see what type of info is displayed up there. Is that also on the ones with NAV option, or do they do away with it and display everything on the NAV screen?

Someone mentioned a rear locking differential? Where is the button for that on the dash?

Did someone say they got rid of the grab handle for the driver?

If I think of any more I'll post 'em here, but it's past 1am and I have to be at work at 8am, enough 2009 for me tonight. I'll check back every day until I hear about the official HP numbers - the one thing everyone has wanted for years. Will Ford deliver? Any word on when or if they will announce this before the NAIAS is over?

 

Oh yeah, maybe some shots of those storage bins under the rear seats when they are flipped up. I saw one in a video somewhere, curious how many of them there are? 2? 3? 4?

It sure looks that way. In every interior photo, there is no grab handle on the driver's side.

I would like to see a pic of a flareside if they have one. also there is 4 squares across the bottom of the dash. one has the trailer brake controller in it. what is in the other 3 holes?
