I love the 2009 F150 more all the time!

I have to say, I really liked the 2009 F150 when I saw it. Then I saw it next to the 04+ truck and I liked it even more. Very seldom do my feelings about a vehicle change so quickly, but I like the 2009 more every time I see it. I am sure that when I see one in person, I will like it even more. The taller hood and grill just make the truck. They make it look more like a truck. Congratulations to Ford for making the F150 look like it should. It looks like a big mean truck. If I was in the market for one, I would buy the Platinum edition F150 and change the grill insert out. Since the Platinum Edition has brushed aluminum accents and grill surround and tailgate strip, I don't think putting chrome on the Platinum Edition would look right.

The second video on this page shows the new truck and current truck side by side...

The thing I like best about the '09 is the new front end treatment. I think the more squared-off nose recalls the square-bodied trucks from the early 90's. I think it looks great when viewed from the front!

The thing I like least about the '09 are the tail lights. It seems as if every vehicle Ford puts out these days has to have that silver "ricer" look to the tail lights. Sadly, this design feature has now made its way onto the F-150.

All-in-all, I kind of wish I didn't have an '05 with only 1300 miles on it -- I could definitely see a regular cab-short box version of the '09 sitting in my garage!

Just because we like the new truck doesn't mean we have stopped liking the older models. I love every ford truck so far .

I had hoped all along they would make this F150 look more like the 2008 Super Duty, and they did. I love everything except the taillights, but hey, they might look better in person. Oh and a 6-speed will be VERY nice.

Yup, I still fall inlove with my 06 everytime I see it. At the same time this 06 only improves on a great thing

See if your company will splurge and spring for a new Tundra!
