I've never heard of trailer sway. Maybe because I only have double axle trailers? I never knew that could happen.

I have only had it happen once, pulling a 28' enclosed trailer. I think it was caused by the wind when it happen to me, there were 25-30mph winds with gusts to 40 one of the gusts must have hit the trailer just right. It felt like thr back of the trailer was going to go into the ditch at first then it came back and started to make the truck and trailer move all over. Probably the strangest feeling that I ever had while driving, hopefully it never happens again.
