So I'm thinking @ 100 days util we finally see the 2009 F-150 unmasked. thats assuming its unveiled at the NAIAS in Detroit beg of Jan. I wonder if there will be any hints at SEMA in Nov?

100 days.... And then how long until the 6.2? Another 400? (Feb 09) and then how long until the Diesel????

Yes it sucks. I have to wait almost a year to get a new truck. I'm waiting for the new F-150 as well.

I will be at SEMA and will be looking for hints of the new truck.

 

Who is going to buy the new model if it still has the same crappy engine in it?

Does Ford want to throw away all the Build 1 sales? Only casual fools will buy it based on the looks alone, anyone in the know will wait until a decent engine finally comes out for a Ford Truck...

ive had that same feeling since i read the rumor on edmunds n other sites.

It does aggravate me, but i get by, as im not like some guys on this forum who cannot buy anything but ford, im open to the big 3 and love to see what they have to offer If the deals right ill get a silverado when my lease is up then when the 6.2 is out by the time the silverado lease is up ill get one of those

 

If GM had 6 speed out now with 6.0 or 6.2L I'd be so tempted to run one of them for 2+ years until "our" 6.2 is out wether it be std sisue or DI TT version... But byt he time they have it we'll be real close to seeing what Ford has...
