Will 6.2L have Twin Turbos?

Read some other forum whre Ford was indicating 6.2L to have simliar #'s to diesel? Could this be true? Pls don't jerk us around Ford....

Maybe they were thinking it in 2007 when that article was written, but Obummer and the green crowd pretty much killed that off earlier this year with their new gas mileage mandates. They are going the other way, ecoboost 4 cylinders and I thought I read somewhere that they are working on an ecoboost 3 cylinder. An EB 5.0 sure would be nice, though.

It's possible and it's highly possible that twin turbos can gain more mileage. Turbos are highly pretty much 100% efficient and depending on the fuel system and tuning it could gain mileage.

I know it's really old , but ford had a play motor (6.2L TT) that made 700hp/700lb-ft with no agressive tuning.
