JBMX928 that concept drawing is BAD A$$!!!. I was a little discouraged when I saw the camoed pics but that drawing brings new light.

Escape? Any bets on that? And with respect to your abilites and the great job re: concept, I don't think thats the 09 truck either. For didn't hide this whole truck under camo just to keep 95% of it the same. Even w/the last generation they were not same as Expy, so why would they start now? They won't. All the changes w/ the lame duck 08's indicates Ford is not taking the challenge likely. That said, I still have my doubts with the powertrain. We seem to be chancing a moving target and seem to be a little late. Whatever new V8 is coming needs to be at or near 400 Hp to be very credible. Yes 350 would be more than the curretn hemi, and the tourqueless wonder 5.3L and the current Titan, but we need to leapfrog the GM 6.0L and the Tundra. And we need that new 5 speed ASAP. I would have loved to see the 5 speed in the 08's just to see what improvments it would provide with current chassis/5.4 which were all familiar with. Good marketing too. Bunch of guys would have traded up, only to regret it a year later when the 09 arrives. (Like the Dodge guys that bought new 02's with the 4.7L!)

For me if the 09 doens't live up to my expectations, I'll just have to find a way to get a SD.

look at the first expys, then look at the 97-03 f150s, similar fronts and lights.

look at 2004 expy to a 2004 f150.

very similar valence grill etc etc.
only thing that was majorly different was the hood line was flat across on the expy and it was raised on the 150.

i hope they keep the trend going, because then my concept drawing would be spot on
