Desert Dawg's EcoBoost Mod Pics (to date)....

Okay, got some of my mods completed so thought I post some pics to show how my new EcoBoost is turning out. Unlike my 2009 FX4, I purposely went more low key and went with the white/chrome theme. What do you guys think?

Exterior Mods:

Daystar 2-inch Front Leveling System, 20x9 MHT Fuel Offroad Chrome Hostage Wheels with +14mm Offset, Nitto Trail Grappler MT 305/55R20s (33.4 inches tall and 12.4 inches wide), Bedliner, Snugtop XTR Topper (on order), Smittybilt Lightbar, PIAA 520ATP Extreme White Offroad Lights, PIAA 540 Ion Plasma Fog Lights, and Stubbie Antenna.

Interior Mods:

K40 Remote Radar System, FX4 Center Stack Panel

Nitto Trail Grapplers (305/55R20) mounted on 20x9 MHT Fuel Offroad Chrome Hostage with +14mm Offset:

Replaced Stock XLT Center Stack Panel with one from the FX4:

Dude... Bravo..

Truck looks good! Are you planning any engine mod's... Or plan on just waiting out the warranty first

beautiful truck man! i like it alot! Im going with a similiar setup just white and black. I recently got mine leveled and am looking into those same exact tires just different rims.. are they spaced at all? Any rubbing with the 33.4s? I really do love the truck man youve got some real good taste in modifications

Beautiful truck!!! Was thinking of going with the same wheels except black and a +14mm or +20mm offset. Do you have any rubbing what so ever? If you do, where does it rub and how severe?

Nope...not touching the engine for the reason you stated. Not messing with my warranty until I have some miles under it.

Thanks guys. I have a 2.5-inch front leveling system. With the +14mm offset and 305s, I have absoutely no rubbing at all and plenty of clearance between the tires and upper control arms.

have you noticed any loss of power or drop in mpg's with the larger tires? That is one of the things I want to improve is getting rid of the tiny 17's and even worse small tires on the 17's.
