2010 TPMS sensors

Has anyone reused their 2010 TPMS sensors on their aftermarket wheels?

I have switched them 3 times now. They work the same on aftermarket wheels. All you have to get is new valve stems. It cost me $100 at Big O to get my tires swapped including the new stems.

FYI, you can buy the valve stems at AutoZone for $3.99/each. Part #20018

Just in case the tire shop you go to wants to charge you a rediculous amount. That's where I got mine when I swapped wheels.

Thanks guys, great information. I was getting wheel prices and they wanted to sell me new sensors too. I thought they could be reused, but you guys have confirmed it. Thanks!

If you want to use your OE tires and wheels, then get new senors also. That way you can swap back and forth as needed. That is what I do. Have 2 sets of tires and wheels. One for summer, and one for winter.
