2wd Leveled and new tires

The truck is an 08 2wd with the 4.6 in it. I just installed a 2.5 AS leveling kit up front and a factory 4x4 block in the rear. The front leveling kit gave me 3 which looks perfect with the 4x4 block. The tires are 285/65/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers mounted on Chrome Moto Metal 951's with 4.5" backspacing. I didnt want the tire to stick out too much but I got the rims for $500 and they look brand new. I love the new look.

Going out for alignment tomorrow and maybe back to discount tire becuase I have a slight vibration at anything above 55mph which I dont like.

Heres some pics:

And the new shoes:

Looks damn good. The chrome on the tires goes good with the color of your truck.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing black, but I think I made the right choice. Plus my freind with a black 07 wants the same look but with black rims, and I dont want the same thing.

The chrome looks good man. That's what I ended up doing with mine also, after thinking about black. Enjoy!

Both of those trucks look great.

I've leveled with a 2" AS leveling kit with a skyjacker 1.5" AAL....

And I've leveled with 2" drop shackles......

And now I have the ultimate level, a 2" by 4" drop.

I never would have even guessed that is the same truck. It's amazing how radically different wheel/tire/stance combinations can make a vehicle look.

I've said it before but very nice ride Stealth.
