04 Ergonomics?

Anyone else think Ford should change the driver's seat ergonomics? I have had 2 F150's, both with 6-way power seat, and when I get the seat a comfortable distance for my legs, the steering wheel is too far away. I am average size - 6'. Just seems the steering wheel is too close to the dash. I have driven Chevy and Dodge and haven't noticed the same problem.

Anyone else with me, hoping the 04 is a little more comfortable?

With adjustable pedals you still can't get comfortable? Wow, your legs must be long....

I'm 6' 8" and have plenty of room im my truck, it has a lot more room than my 1995 Dodge Ram did.

I would agree. I passed on a chance to buy a beautiful NASCAR edition reg cab with only 11k miles. It was a 4.6 stick, but because of a bad left knee, I couldn't get the right leverage over the clutch without my knee hitting the dash.
With my current 98 scab, I lean back a little farther than I normally would, to get the distances right.
I've never driven one with the adjustable pedals. Does anyone have one?

I would prefer a power lumbar suport in the seat instead of the manual one we have in the current truck.
