Broken Rubber Hose

[img alt="Noticed this hose hanging today. It runs from somewhere around the gas tank to a T connection mounted on rear axle. Metal lines connect to each side of T connection.
Looks like it has been broken for a while.
Any ideas what it is?"]https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f150online.com-vbulletin/1500x2000/img_5969_0476c376fca1db3fdb54530d2de53de115e6f228. jpeg[/img]

The description of that sounds to me like the block for the rear brake line junction. And then the rubber hose that connects to it would be the breather for the rear axle.

When I rebuilt my entire brake system a few years ago on the rear, I replaced that block and the old breather that threads into the axle. So that rubber hose needs to go up to the bottom of the bed there's a mount up there that it attaches to help the rear axle breathe.
