4wd will not engage

No grinding so it’s not the IWE’s. 4wd lights on cluster come on when I start the truck then go off but won’t come on when selected. No fuses are blown, can’t feel or hear transfer case shift motor operate. Pulled relays under hood checked pin 30 to ground on one of them and it showed shorted to ground. Disconnected shift motor and pin 30 to ground was open. Going to change the shift motor. Are y’all having any luck with aftermarket shift motors or stay with OEM?
Recently had the dash out for a heater core and did some solder touchup on the cluster. Anyway I missed something? Already checked all the connections I had apart and they’re all connected.
EDIT #2 This dummy found a wire harness by the right side fuse box disconnected. It’s all good now. Mods or admins can delete this post to hide my embarrassment thanks
