I have a 2005 F150 Lariat 4x4 Crew cab and it has the auto dimming mirror with the compass module snapped in front of it. The wires that plug into the mirror are only using 3 of the 7 pins going from the passenger side of the truck. I have found that the far right one (a white wire) is the positive and not sure which one is exactly the negative. I do have a dash cam powered from it but my issue is that when I put the truck into reverse the power gets cut to the camera as I am sure that when in reverse it's a safety issue for the mirror to go to regular instead of dark at night. Does anyone know which two wires I should be powering the camera from? I can live with it cutting out in reverse but if it can be corrected that would be great.
