When I start my truck it isn’t in limp mode but when I put it in drive and give it gas it goes into limp mode. It doesn’t do it when it goes into reverse with gas or when I’m revving in neutral or park. I have already replaced tps and don’t know where to go from there

 

Truck details, please? Can't see it through the Internet. Have you scanned the OBD2 for codes? You might have plugged cats.

 

It’s an 04 5.4, last time it was on the obd scan toll no codes popped up.

 

Did you get this fixed?

If not, have you tried disconnecting the battery for awhile? Do you have an OBD code reader? If not, and you can take it to an auto parts store, they can check the codes for you.

Had there been any change to the truck just before this started? Are there any other fuel, electrical, engine performance or transmission issues? Are you comfortable using a multimeter?
