Ok so back in 08 I got a great deal on a full Roush suspension kit .Any ways none of the parts are no longer made and my truck is riding rough over bumps but still handels good .I just don't know what would work inplace of them since the kit dropped the truck front and back but can't remember the change from the STX 2x4 stock..The back seems fine .The struts I want to replace . Do I need to change the Roush springs as well ? Any parts under a load if I unbolt them once I get the truck on stands ? What else up front should I look to replace ?I have about 90,000 on it. Thanks for any help in the matter
Thank you , are you talking the control arms rubber bushings?.I did find part numbers and drop info the only parts I could find still around is rear shocks.

This is the response for dropping big bucks for Roush
Hello,
I apologize, but we no longer have this kit available as it has been discontinued. We unfortunately do not have replacement or recommendations on what could be swapped out and would contact a local auto shop. I apologize for the inconvenience.
OK I had bought a new Roush 2wd full suspension kit about 12 years ago for my 07 F-150 .I wanted to get new front and rear shocks only keeping things in a budget doing ball joints and other parts I am just not sure what shocks to get. When I emailed and called Roush what a
joke . it was like I called Jiffy Lube for the help .Same with the Technical Support Expert from Bilstein better but no help in the matter. As he said they just made them and did not design them working with Roush back then .And could not advise me a replacement .So what to get?
1. Leveling set
2. OEM set
3. 2 inch drops front and 3 inch drops for the rear shocks as 2/3 is what the Roush Kit lowered the truck. I take it that the springs do the lowering ? I just need the right travel and damping in the shocks ?
I was thinking #3 Belltech Street Performance set at 2/3 plus I can adjust if needed 4 inches up or down .Not that I want to do that being slightly fat and old with bad vision now.

I remember you from back then. If it were me, I would consider the Bell tech drop spindles. I bought them from a member here way back like 10 years ago, and I've been running them for the past 5 years and been very happy. Back in 2012 I had installed the Bell tech drop struts and I didn't like them I thought they rode rough. So my current setup is 2-in Bell tech drop spindles, rancho adjustable shocks with Moog coil springs for a total of two inch drop up front.
And then I've been running the same 2-in ground force rear shackles in the rear with the adjustable rancho shocks.
Eventually I will be putting Bell tech lowering leafs and using the top holes on my ground force shackles for a total of 4 in drop.
I like the drop spindles because they allow you to use factory springs and shocks which is good for ease of replacement. Just the little things that I tend to think about. You do need to run a minimum of a 20-in wheel though just something to keep in mind.
Your issues are why exactly I have done things the way I have over the years and avoided a lot of the kits. And on my '07 Mustang GT I am slowly going to be upgrading it to a lot of factory Shelby GT500, Bilstein and Ford Performance suspension parts because Ford tends to stand behind them long-term. Where roush and these other companies end up discontinuing it when the new sexy generation of vehicle comes out leaving you holding the bag if you were a long-term owner needing replacement parts.

Yeah,Have not been here for a minute .But learned so much from the site same truck since 07 few changes not a real Roush .Just parts .So with that I went Beltech strut and rear shocks .Not thrilled with compressing coils .But want to reuse the Roush coils and leaf springs .I had my first break down since haveing it a bad o2 on bank 1 sending fauty info .But did throttle body and AMF and a purge valve befor the o2 since I only got the code it was reporting rich and lean.Running like new now .But this got me thinking maybe its time to sell .With the cold mornings the chatter . I took the cowl decal off .One time I bumped my head and thought I had a Chevelle SS .
