New member here, I hope someone can help. Took my truck somewhere the other day and when I got it back the Transmission dipstick tube was snapped off at the mounting bracket. I am looking to get another tube but for all the looking I do, I haven't been able to find one. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. The truck is an 05 F150 2WD automatic with the 4.6L V8.

 

Have you gone to a Ford dealer parts department?

 

I did, they wanted $76 for one. I was hoping someone may know of something a little more friendly on the wallet.

 

Get the part number from them then do a web search. Tascaparts.com is usually one of the cheapest for OEM parts. Your other option is a junkyard.
