Hi, I have all the parts to convert the 04/05 bumper to my 06 to put it back to original with the fog lights it came with. My question is on the 04/05 bumper the hood release assembly attaches to the actual bumper but the support bracket part (6L3Z-17C9473A) recommended for the 06, where the upper cover is held with the body bolts doesn't seem to have an attachment spot for the release mechanism. Where does the release mechanism attach? Or do i need to buy a new release mechanism? Can someone post pics? This is the only thing i can't seem to figure out...
