Need Catalytic Converters on my 08 F150 - some questions

Thinking 200 cell or 400. Both are far less than OEM, right? Trying to go the high-flow route.

Also, do I need to purchase cats with the O2 Bungs pre-installed? Or can the O2 sensors go anywhere behind the catalytic converter? I think my muffler shop can add them for like $10/bung unless I order a pair with them pre-installed. Also I have an SCT Tuner w/ 5-star so I can tune out the CEL if the 200 cell kicks it on

Well, let's start with the "Myth" that there are such a thing as High Flow Cats..... there is no such thing...... I do not work for or have any relationship with this company but their publication on this subject is excellent.....http://www.catalyticconverter.org/ne...erter-&News=89
With regards to the bungs...they get installed in the pipe itself near the cat.

Now with regards to the engine check light (ECL) coming on vs cats..... if you buy cheap cats, you will get to spend your $ all over again as the cats will most likely be clogging up especially if you gat an ECL.... and as the ecm tries to correct the A/F mixture, this will induce other issues from carbon buildup, etc..... There are 2 companies that manufacture cats in the US...... Car Sound builds the best/better of the oem replacement units..... they mfg them for Magnaflow and I'm sure a few others.

If you don't live in a mandated cat state, then straight pipe it to the muffler, and install o2 eliminators, or program it out with the 5 Star... and be done with it.
