Need Help Please. Will not run.
Motor turns over but does not run. Any ideas will be helpful. Thank you.
Situation: 2004 F150 Crewcab 5.4 3V. I took the motor out of a running truck (Not this truck) and rebuilt the motor. Dropped it in and hooked up the necessary components.
Tried to start it. it would start with Starter Fluid in the intake, but was not getting fuel. Replaced the Fuel Filter, Fuel Pump, and Module under spare tire. Checked all fuses and relays. Still not getting enough fuel to run on its own. If I leave the ignition on for 15-20 minutes, I would get enough fuel pressure for it to run a short period of time (2-5 seconds). Then I decided to check fuel lines for debris. I found that the fuel line, where it connects to the fuel rail, was clogged with dirt. This was only allow very limited fuel to get through and allow it to build pressure over a period of time. I cleaned the fuel line and reconnected everything. I now have 50-60 lbs which should be ample pressure to run. Now, I am not getting ANY start at all. The motor turns over, but does not fire. I am running out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Updated Information: Motor is Newly Rebuilt (0 Miles); New Plugs, Coil Packs, Fuel Injectors, Sensors, Fully Charged Battery, Gas Tank was emptied and filled with clean gas when pump replaced.
