Get your battery load tested.

Does the starter spin at all? If not, do you get any clicking?

If it does spin, you might be missing teeth on the flywheel.

This sounds like a wiring/grounding issue.

I'd check all of the grounds and cabling. Especially if you live in an area where there could be rodent (includes chipmunk/squirrels) infestations.

You could try bypassing everything, and try spinning the starter by wiring it up to the battery directly. Even though it's a new starter, you never know.

Ok. Let us know how you make out.

There's another fellow on here, glc, that might be able to help out too. glc always has helpful advice.

Is the clicking in the fuse box or in the solenoid/relay under the hood? Try putting in Neutral, turn the key and wiggle the shifter up and down, see if it catches.

Here’s where I’m at with it after finicking around with it in park if I held my brake down to the floor it fired up but I’m not sure if this was a fluke or what it could be

Sounds like your DTRS (neutral safety switch) or the brake interlock is out of adjustment. How hard do you have to step on the brake to make the brake lights come on?

2005 Ford F-150 5.4 no crank no start

So after today I found if I pumped the gas it would finally crank over but that only worked for a few days and I’m back to a no crank no start any thoughts?
