Stuck in 4x4

So, ive got the 5.4l 07 F150. I’ve replaced the entire 4x4 system (transfer case motor, iwe hubs, vacuum lines, check valves...)
reason being is due to an occurrence I had while driving down a dirt road. I was coming to a stop to put it in reverse and turn around, and the ol gal decided to throw herself into 4l.
I eventually got it into 4hi to drive it home.
Since she was not being driven stuck in 4x4 in the driveway, and I have a work truck luckily, I decided to replace everything in the 4x4 system while I had the time (including the cam phasers and solenoids, much needed).
Right now, the trucks shifts fine from 4h to 4lo and back and forth to one another, but it will not go back into 2wd!!
I’m at a lose. Fuses look good, and I ordered a new 4x4 selector dash switch today that should be here Friday.
Anybody out there with any suggestions, or tips on check the wiring?

When you select 2wd do you see the actuator moving on the transfer case motor?

That would be my first thing I'd do.
